This is the time of year when our minds are prepped for Spring.
Instead of super rich moisturisers we're ready for lightweight SPF50+... Lightly bronzed shoulders are slipping out of gauzy knits while we’re sipping rose spritzers and watching the sun set... We’re ready to feel the breeze between our (freshly painted) toes... But the weather says, "Dream on, hun." Don’t forget it’s Britain. While we may be treated to a freak heatwave this week (it’s glimmering on the horizon like a desert mirage) sandals feel a little premature. Basically it’s not that hot.
What you need is an Inbetweener, or two. A shoe that looks fresh and light but won’t actually cause your toes to drop off from frostbite if the sun goes in. Something that breaks the monochrome monotony of your Winter wardrobe but isn’t as flippant as a sandal.
